Germany Urges Citizens to Leave Iran and Avoid Travel Amid Rising Tensions
Germany has warned its citizens to leave Iran and avoid traveling to the country, citing the possibility of Iranian retaliation after the E3 (Germany, France, and the UK) initiated a process to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran’s nuclear program.

Germany has issued a travel warning to its citizens, urging them to leave Iran and avoid traveling to the country due to escalating tensions between Iran and Western nations.
This warning comes after the E3 countries (Germany, France, and the UK) began the process of reinstating United Nations sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program.
In a statement, the German Foreign Ministry expressed concerns that Iranian retaliation in response to these measures could pose a security risk to German citizens in Iran.
The ministry advised German nationals to leave the country if possible and to avoid non-essential travel to Iran.
The move comes as tensions between Iran and Western powers over its nuclear program continue to rise. The E3 recently initiated steps to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran, which had been lifted under the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal.
Iran has warned that it will take retaliatory measures if the sanctions are reimposed. This has raised concerns about the safety of foreign nationals in Iran, prompting Germany to issue the travel advisory.
