Israeli Military Convoy Enters Syrian Territory from the Golan Heights

Kokcha News Agency – According to Syrian media reports, an Israeli military convoy consisting of approximately 30 vehicles carrying soldiers entered Syrian territory from the Golan Heights. The convoy reportedly stationed itself in the village of Al-Esh in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria.

Local Syrian sources had previously reported on August 27 that Israeli military vehicles had advanced toward the village of Koudna and the farm of Rasim Sand in the Quneitra countryside, infiltrating these areas.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based monitoring group, stated that Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Kiswah area in the Damascus countryside near the Al-Suwayda road in two separate raids.

The report added that a military base in the Al-Kiswah area was targeted in the attacks, resulting in the deaths of four Syrian soldiers.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz claimed on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that Israel cannot remain indifferent to potential threats from Syria following the events of October 7, 2023 (Operation Al-Aqsa Storm).

Katz emphasized the continued presence of Israeli forces in the occupied territories and stated that Tel Aviv would continue to support the Druze community in Syria.
