Zionist Forces Retreat in Shame from Gaza’s Zaytoun Neighborhood After Four Soldiers Go Missing

Kokcha News Agency – The Israeli army has reportedly pulled back its troops from the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City after four of its soldiers went missing during clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters.

According to reports from Al Jazeera, Israeli sources have not provided further details about the incident. This retreat has once again exposed the fragility of the occupying army, which, despite claims of military superiority, has no choice but to retreat in the face of Palestinian resistance and determination.

The humiliating withdrawal comes as the latest operation by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has resulted in one death and 11 injuries as of the time of reporting.

Israeli media reports suggest that the army fears at least four soldiers may have been captured by Hamas during the clashes, and a large-scale search operation is underway to locate them.

The ongoing clashes in the Zaytoun neighborhood have been described by Israeli media as one of the most challenging security incidents since October 7, 2023.

Zionist sources also reported that intense fighting has resumed between the Israeli army and Hamas fighters in the Zaytoun neighborhood. According to these reports, Al-Qassam Brigades fighters set up ambushes and launched a fierce attack against an Israeli military unit in the area.

Israeli media stated that a large number of Al-Qassam Brigades fighters participated in the operation, targeting well-fortified Israeli army positions.

Six Israeli military helicopters dispatched to evacuate wounded soldiers were reportedly met with heavy fire in the Zaytoun neighborhood.

Israeli media confirmed that four soldiers remain missing and are believed to have been captured by resistance forces during the clashes in Zaytoun.

While earlier reports indicated three security incidents in different areas, a new and difficult security incident has now been reported in a fourth location within the Zaytoun neighborhood.

Israeli media also reported that heavy weapons are being used in direct clashes between Hamas fighters and Israeli forces in the Zaytoun neighborhood.
