Zelensky Rejects Moscow Meeting Proposal, Invites Putin to Kyiv
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declined Russian President Vladimir Putin's invitation to meet in Moscow, instead suggesting that Putin come to Kyiv, stating that he cannot visit Moscow while his country is under daily missile attacks.

Kokcha News Agency – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold talks in Moscow, countering with an invitation for Putin to visit Kyiv instead.
In an interview with the U.S.-based ABC News, Zelensky addressed Putin’s proposal, stating, “He (Putin) can come to Kyiv. I cannot go to Moscow while my country is under daily missile attacks. I cannot go to the capital of that terrorist.”
Zelensky accused Putin of having no intention to end the war, suggesting that the Russian leader is making unacceptable offers to delay the process. “We cannot trust Putin. He is playing games, and now he is playing with the U.S.,” Zelensky said.
Putin had previously invited Zelensky to Moscow on September 3, claiming to see “light at the end of the tunnel” regarding the Ukraine war and expressing his readiness to meet with the Ukrainian president.
