Armed Attack in East Jerusalem: 6 Killed, Netanyahu Visits Scene
In a deadly armed attack in occupied East Jerusalem, at least six people were killed and six others critically injured. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the scene.

Kokcha News Agency – A violent armed attack occurred at the Ramot Junction in occupied East Jerusalem, leaving at least six people dead and 11 injured, six of whom are in critical condition. The attack took place near a bus stop, where emergency responders found victims lying on the road and sidewalk, some of whom were unconscious.
The identity and motive of the attackers remain unclear, but Israeli police have labeled them as “terrorists.” According to the Jerusalem Post, the attackers boarded the number 62 bus, which operates across Jerusalem, and opened fire on passengers.
Israeli police reported that two suspects believed to have carried out the attack were killed by a “civilian” and an Israeli soldier. Security forces suspect the attackers were residents of the occupied West Bank.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the scene following the attack. In response, authorities closed entry and exit points to Jerusalem and deployed additional security forces to the area.
International Reactions
Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul expressed shock over the “cowardly” terror attack in Jerusalem. The European Union also condemned the attack, stating that it underscores the need for a ceasefire.
