Israel Strikes Building in Gaza Sheltering Displaced Palestinians
Kokcha News Agency – The Israeli military has launched an attack on the Al-Ruya building in Gaza’s Rimal neighborhood, which was sheltering displaced Palestinians. Prior to the strike, the Israeli military issued warnings on social media, urging civilians to evacuate the area.
The Israeli military claimed that “Hamas elements” were present in the area, justifying the attack. They also issued an “urgent warning” to civilians near the Beirut Junction and Arab League Street, where makeshift tents had been set up for displaced Palestinians.
In a statement, the Israeli military urged civilians to “immediately evacuate the area” and move to what they described as a “safe zone” in the Khan Younis area. However, the safety of these zones has been questioned by humanitarian organizations.
