North Korea’s UN Delegation: Nuclear Status is “Irreversible”
North Korea’s delegation to the United Nations has declared that the country’s nuclear status is "irreversible," dismissing calls for denuclearization as a "thing of the past."
SEUL (Kokcha.News) —** North Korea’s delegation to the United Nations has firmly stated that the country’s nuclear status is “irreversible,” rejecting calls for denuclearization as outdated. The delegation emphasized that North Korea’s position as a nuclear-armed state, enshrined in its constitution, is now an irreversible reality.
In a statement reported by North Korea’s official news agency (KCNA), the delegation said, “The status of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as a nuclear-armed state, incorporated into the supreme law of the country, has become an irreversible issue.”
The delegation criticized U.S. demands for North Korea’s denuclearization as “provocative acts and interference in internal affairs,” asserting that possessing nuclear weapons is “an inevitable choice to protect the country from U.S. nuclear threats.”
