Kokcha News Agency – The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement strongly condemning Israel’s ground operation in Gaza City, describing it as a new stage in the Netanyahu government’s genocide plan.
The ministry emphasized that the operation will intensify the ongoing massacres, force hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to flee, and exacerbate the already dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The ministry highlighted that Gaza City, one of the few remaining places where Palestinians could seek refuge, is now under attack, with over one million Palestinians at risk.
The ground operation, launched at a time when the international community is pushing for a ceasefire agreement that includes prisoner exchanges and uninterrupted humanitarian aid, demonstrates Israel’s unwillingness to seek peace.
The statement called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities and ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Turkey reaffirmed its commitment to working with countries that respect international law to address the crisis and hold Israel accountable for its actions.
