Erdoğan: “We Will Not Give a Single Pebble of Jerusalem”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, speaking at TEKNOFEST 2025 in Istanbul, reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to protecting Jerusalem and condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza. He stated, "We will not give a single pebble of Jerusalem to those who have the blood of 65,000 innocent Gazans on their hands."

Kokcha News Agency: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a powerful speech at TEKNOFEST 2025, held at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport, where he addressed Turkey’s technological advancements, the importance of youth, and the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Erdoğan strongly criticized Israel’s actions in Gaza, stating that Jerusalem is a symbol of honor and dignity for Muslims and all humanity. He declared, “Jerusalem is the honor, dignity, and pride of Muslims and all humanity. We will not give you a single pebble of Jerusalem, let alone the Silvan Inscription.”
The President also emphasized Turkey’s support for an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders. He vowed that Turkey would continue to defend the rights of Muslims and all faiths in Jerusalem, stating, “As long as this soul remains in this body, with Allah’s permission, we will protect the legacy of our ancestors and never let go of Jerusalem.”
Erdoğan praised the resilience of the people of Gaza, who have endured over 23 months of Israeli aggression, and extended his condolences to the martyrs and wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Youth and Technology:
Erdoğan also highlighted the importance of Turkey’s youth and technological advancements, stating that the TEKNOFEST generation is laying the foundation for a strong and prosperous Turkey. He expressed his pride in the young participants, saying, “I am proud of each and every one of you. Your dreams, projects, and innovations will bring our vision of a fully independent and prosperous Turkey to life.”
The President noted Turkey’s achievements in defense technology, including being among the top three countries in drone technology and the 11th largest exporter of defense products globally. He emphasized that these successes were not handed to Turkey but were achieved through hard work, perseverance, and
Erdoğan concluded his speech by encouraging the youth to remain determined and ambitious, quoting Ali Fuat Başgil: “The first condition of success is to have willpower.” He expressed his confidence in the TEKNOFEST generation and thanked everyone involved in organizing the event.
