Iran to Rebuild Nuclear Facilities Damaged by Israel and U.S. Attacks
Iran has announced plans to rebuild its nuclear facilities damaged in recent attacks by Israel and the U.S., reaffirming its commitment to its nuclear program despite international pressure.
Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, stated that nuclear facilities damaged during attacks by Israel and the U.S. will be rebuilt, despite ongoing international pressure and threats.
Eslami emphasized that Iran’s uranium enrichment, often criticized, is not necessarily for weapons but for scientific purposes, especially given the country’s long-standing embargoes.
He also ruled out negotiations with the U.S., citing decades of hostility and recent military actions. The conflict escalated in June when Israel launched widespread attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites and military leadership, followed by U.S. strikes on three key nuclear facilities.
Iran retaliated by targeting a U.S. airbase in Qatar, leading to a temporary ceasefire brokered by the U.S.
