Trump Accuses UN of “Triple Sabotage,” Demands Immediate Investigation

U.S. President Donald Trump has accused the United Nations of orchestrating a "triple sabotage" during his recent speech at the General Assembly, calling for an immediate investigation into the incidents.

Kokcha News Agency:
U.S. President Donald Trump has alleged that he was the target of a “triple sabotage” during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, demanding an immediate investigation into the incidents. In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump described the events as “shameful” and claimed they were deliberate acts of sabotage.

The first incident involved the escalator leading to the main speech floor suddenly stopping while Trump and his wife, Melania, were on it. “We almost fell. If we hadn’t held tightly to the railings, it would have been a disaster,” Trump said. He claimed that a recent report in The London Times suggested that UN employees had joked about stopping the escalator, calling for those responsible to be arrested.

The second incident involved the teleprompter failing during his speech. “It was completely dark. I thought to myself: Wow, first the escalator incident, now a bad teleprompter. What kind of place is this?” Trump recounted. He delivered part of his speech without the teleprompter, which reportedly started working again after about 15 minutes.

The third incident involved the sound system in the hall being turned off during his speech. Trump claimed that world leaders could not hear his speech without translation headphones. “After my speech, the first person I saw was Melania sitting in the front row. I asked her, ‘How was my speech?’ She replied, ‘I couldn’t hear a single word you said,’” Trump stated.i5jbWNUk3UaQ9aw8YF-05g Trump Accuses UN of "Triple Sabotage," Demands Immediate Investigation

Trump called the series of events a “triple sabotage” and not a coincidence. He criticized the UN for failing to fulfill its purpose and demanded an immediate investigation. “I am sending a copy of this letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and demanding an immediate investigation,” Trump said.

He also called for all security records, including the escalator’s emergency stop records, to be preserved. Trump added that the Secret Service has already intervened in the “suspicious sabotage attempts.”
