Israeli Army Raids Syria’s Quneitra Province, Attempts Forced Survey

The Israeli military conducted a raid on the village of Sayda in Syria’s Quneitra province, attempting to force residents to participate in a survey under the guise of distributing aid, according to Syrian state media.

Kokcha News Agency – Syrian state television Al-Ikhbariya reported that a 15-vehicle Israeli military unit raided the village of Sayda in Quneitra province.

The Israeli soldiers allegedly tried to force villagers to participate in a survey under the pretext of distributing aid. However, the villagers rejected the initiative and refused to accept any assistance from Israel.

Since the fall of the Ba’ath regime, Israel has conducted over 1,000 air strikes and more than 400 raids on Syrian territory, according to Syrian President Ahmed Shara.

Israel has also established military bases and patrol points within and outside the 1974 ceasefire line in southern Syria, particularly in Quneitra.
