Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Urges Taliban to Act Against Terrorist Elements
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called the Taliban’s border clashes "provocative" and urged the group to take concrete actions against terrorist elements that seek to damage bilateral relations.

Kokcha News Agency – Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, described the Taliban’s recent border clashes as “highly provocative” and stated that the Pakistani Army had targeted Taliban infrastructure in a defensive response. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, October 20, Dar called on the Taliban to take practical steps against terrorist elements that aim to undermine relations between the two countries.
Dar emphasized that Pakistan will take all necessary measures to defend its territory, sovereignty, and people. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to protecting its borders and national security.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Interior Minister also warned the Taliban, stating that Afghanistan would face a “strong response” similar to the one India received, “so that it does not dare to look at Pakistan with ill intentions.”
