Iran’s Former IRGC Commander Reveals Details of “True Promise 3” Operation Against Israel

During a memorial ceremony at the Imam Khomeini Mosque in Tehran, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf evaluated the 12-day conflict with Israel, claiming that Iranian missiles had successfully neutralized Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system. Ghalibaf stated, “I want to make it clear that after the second and third days of the war, we targeted and destroyed any point we wanted in the north, south, and east of the occupied territories.”

Ghalibaf also mentioned that a missile launched for testing purposes had destroyed one of Israel’s most important defense fortifications in the city of Beersheba, adding, “This demonstrates the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Details of “True Promise 3” Operation
Former IRGC commander Major General Mohsen Rezaei, speaking at the same event, provided further details about the “True Promise 3” operation, which was carried out in retaliation against Israel. Rezaei explained that this operation was the first to be conducted under the direct command and guidance of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

Rezaei stated, “This operation was carried out in collaboration with the Armed Forces General Staff and the Hatem al-Anbiya Central Headquarters. All orders issued by the Supreme Commander were relayed to the army and the IRGC.” He also warned that Iran’s response would be even more severe and extensive if Israel were to launch another attack.
