Turkish Foreign Ministry Condemns Israeli Officials’ Statements on Annexation of West Bank
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned recent statements by Israeli ministers and politicians regarding the annexation of the occupied West Bank, calling such remarks a clear violation of international law and a threat to regional stability.

In a written statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the statements made by Israeli officials, emphasizing that such calls for annexation are a blatant attempt to perpetuate Israel’s illegal settlement policies and occupation of Palestinian territories.
The statement highlighted that these irresponsible annexation calls, particularly during ongoing ceasefire efforts, disregard the long-standing principles of international peace and security. The Ministry stressed that systematic interventions in Palestinian territories and the displacement of the Palestinian people are exacerbating the fragility of the region.
The Ministry stated, “It is clear that systematic interventions in Palestinian territories and practices aimed at displacing the Palestinian people are deepening the fragility of the region. We reiterate that for lasting peace, mutual trust, and stability in the Middle East, the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people must be recognized, and an independent Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital must be established.”
