Israel’s preparedness message: New plan against Iran
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has emphasized the need for the Israeli military to remain vigilant to prevent Iran from regaining its capabilities, amid ongoing tensions between the two nations.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that the current plan of the Israeli military is to prepare an operational strategy to ensure that Iran does not pose a renewed threat to Israel.
Gallant highlighted the importance of maintaining air superiority over Tehran and preventing Iran from rebuilding its military capabilities. “The Israeli military must be prepared both in terms of intelligence and operations to ensure that Iran does not regain its strength,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that there are “backchannel efforts” to restart diplomatic talks with the U.S. on the nuclear issue. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated, “The U.S. must show a genuine desire for peace with Iran.”
Kanaani added, “Diplomacy should not be exploited as a tool for deception or as a psychological battlefield against enemies.”
The Iranian spokesperson also mentioned that during the nuclear talks with the Trump administration, diplomacy was betrayed when Israel launched attacks.
