Israeli forces land in Damascus by helicopters
The Israeli military has reportedly carried out an airborne operation in the Yafur area, located 10 kilometers south of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

According to local sources, Israeli helicopters conducted an airborne operation in the Yafur region around 3:00 AM. The Israeli team reportedly stayed in the area briefly before departing, and the reason for their presence remains unclear.
In addition to the operation near Damascus, Israeli forces also entered the Rakleh region, located near the Lebanese border in western Syria, for the first time and carried out an operation. Furthermore, the Israeli military conducted a patrol in the Saysoun village in southern Syria’s Daraa province with six military vehicles before withdrawing from the area.
This is not the first time Israel has conducted similar airborne operations in various parts of Syria. Israel has frequently targeted sites in Syria, often citing the presence of Iranian-backed militias or weapons shipments to Hezbollah as justification for its actions.
The recent operations come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Israel continuing to take preemptive measures against what it perceives as threats from Iranian and Hezbollah activities in Syria.
