First Admission from Tel Aviv: Iran Struck Israeli Military Sites

After weeks of denial and secrecy, an Israeli military official has finally admitted, albeit in a limited and cautious manner, that several Israeli military bases were targeted during Iran’s missile and drone strikes in the 12-day conflict.

Kokcha News Agency: In a rare admission, an unnamed Israeli military official has confirmed to Reuters that a “very small number” of Israeli military bases were hit during Iran’s missile and drone strikes in the recent 12-day conflict.

The official, who chose to remain anonymous, stated, “A very small number of military bases were targeted but remain operational.” However, the official refrained from providing any specific details about the exact locations of these bases or the extent of the damage incurred.

This admission marks a significant shift from Israel’s previous stance of complete denial regarding the effectiveness of Iran’s retaliatory strikes. For weeks, Israeli authorities had downplayed or outright denied any significant impact from Iran’s military actions.

The strikes, which were part of a broader escalation in tensions between the two nations, have raised concerns about the potential for further conflict in the region.
