Israeli Journalist: I Saw an Iranian Missile Hit a Military Base with My Own Eyes
An Israeli journalist, Ravid Druker from Channel 13, claims that he witnessed an Iranian missile strike on a military base during the recent conflict, but was prevented by Israeli police from filming the site, citing censorship aimed at maintaining a sense of victory rather than national security.

Kokcha News Agency: Israeli journalist Ravid Druker, from Channel 13, has revealed that he personally witnessed an Iranian missile strike on a military base during the recent conflict. In a post on the social media platform X, Druker stated that Israeli police prevented him from filming the locations targeted by Iranian missiles and even threatened him.
Druker wrote: “After showing my press card, they lowered their voices, but told me that filming here is prohibited, and censorship does not allow it. When I asked the police when they received the order from censorship, they didn’t know what to say and this time asked me to continue driving.”
The Israeli journalist further explained that when he read an article in The Telegraph reporting that five Iranian missiles had hit military bases, he was reminded of the scene he had witnessed with his own eyes—one of those bases was the same one he had seen being struck.
Druker emphasized: “The censorship was not for national security, but to maintain a sense of victory. It wasn’t to prevent the Iranians from knowing, because they know exactly where they hit, but to ensure that the Israeli public remains unaware of the extent of the damage.”
