Kokcha News Agency: In a significant diplomatic meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and address regional challenges. According to reports from the Saudi Press Agency, the two sides reviewed the state of relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed regional developments, including efforts to manage ongoing crises.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed hope that a ceasefire agreement would help create conditions for enhancing security and stability in the region. He also reiterated Riyadh’s support for dialogue and diplomatic tools as the primary means of resolving disputes.
Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian thanked Riyadh for its stance in condemning Israeli aggression and expressed appreciation for the Crown Prince’s efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East and foster cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia, following the restoration of diplomatic ties earlier this year.
