Kokcha News Agency: A woman from Jilin, China, identified only as Gao, has become a social media sensation after sharing her story of neglecting to properly remove her makeup for over two decades. Gao, who started wearing makeup at the age of 15, admitted that she considered makeup removal an “unnecessary hassle” and would only rinse her face with water before applying new makeup the next day.

While Gao dealt with acne over the years, her skin remained relatively stable until earlier this year, when she developed a severe allergic reaction. Her face became swollen and deformed, leaving her unrecognizable.

Seeking Help at a Beauty Clinic
Instead of consulting a dermatologist, Gao visited a beauty clinic for a “skin-strengthening” injection, which she claims worsened her condition, leaving her skin with a purplish hue.

In a video posted on social media, Gao expressed her distress, saying, “I can’t stand the itching, and I can’t leave the house. My face is wrinkled and looks horrible. I don’t have the courage to go out or interact with people.”
