“Our Military Equipment Has Suffered Minimal Damage; We Are Ready for 10 Years of War”
Amir Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, stated that Iran’s military equipment has sustained minimal damage and that the country is prepared for a decade-long war, emphasizing that morale is more critical than equipment.
Kokcha News Agency: In an interview with ILNA, Amir Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, addressed the state of Iran’s military equipment following the 12-day conflict. He asserted that the country’s military assets have suffered minimal damage and that Iran possesses enough equipment to sustain a war for 10 years if necessary.
Ashtiani emphasized that while equipment is important, morale is the key factor in military success. “It is said that morale accounts for three-quarters of a force’s strength,” he noted. He highlighted that the Iranian armed forces are well-trained, experienced, equipped with modern technology, and possess high morale.
In contrast, Ashtiani pointed out that Iran’s adversaries lack these critical elements. “The enemy may have equipment, but it lacks morale. Everything is in its place,” he said, suggesting that Iran’s military readiness is superior to that of its opponents.
