Iran’s Intelligence Minister Reports on Counter-Espionage Efforts During 12-Day War
Iran’s Intelligence Minister has detailed the country’s efforts to combat espionage and counter-revolutionary groups during the 12-day war, emphasizing the need for continued coordination among security and intelligence agencies.

Kokcha News Agency: In a closed-door session of the Iranian Parliament, the Intelligence Minister, along with the First Deputy of the Judiciary and other officials, presented a report on Iran’s counter-espionage operations during the recent 12-day conflict. The session focused on addressing functional, behavioral, and structural reforms within the intelligence and security apparatus, as well as strategies to overcome existing challenges.
The Intelligence Minister highlighted the measures taken before and during the 12-day war to neutralize spies and counter-revolutionary groups operating within the country. The report underscored the importance of maintaining unity, coordination, and solidarity among Iran’s security and intelligence institutions.
In response to comments by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the reduction of Iran’s missile range in ongoing negotiations, Fatemeh Mahagerani, the Vice President of Iran, reiterated that any decision, whether to continue or leave the negotiating table, will be made based on national interests. She emphasized that Iran’s actions will align with the principles that have guided its policies thus far.
Mahagerani also noted that the Iranian government has comprehensive plans to enhance the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure, reflecting the increasing importance of digital security in national defense.
