Iran’s Airspace Now Open 24/7 for International Transit Flights
The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization has announced that the country’s airspace is now open 24 hours a day for international transit flights, following a decision by the Aviation Coordination Committee and thorough security and safety assessments.
Kokcha News Agency: The Public Relations Department of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization has announced that, following a resolution by the Aviation Coordination Committee and detailed security and safety evaluations, all airports in Iran are operational and ready to provide flight services to passengers as usual.
The Mehrabad International Airport will serve passengers from 4:00 AM to 7:00 PM, while other airports across the country are fully operational and prepared to handle flights. However, recreational and training flights remain suspended until further notice.
This decision aims to facilitate international transit flights and ensure smooth air traffic operations, while maintaining high standards of security and safety.
The opening of Iran’s airspace for 24-hour international transit flights marks a significant step in enhancing the country’s aviation sector and improving global air connectivity.
