Ankara Ready to Cooperate with Washington on Securing Syria’s Future

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Minister Hakan Fidan

Kokcha News Agency: The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister **Hakan Fidan** held a phone conversation with his U.S. counterpart, Marc Rubio, during which Fidan stated that Ankara is prepared to cooperate with Washington on securing Syria’s future.

Fidan emphasized that Israel’s intervention in Syrian territory exacerbates the existing problems and that any violation of Syria’s territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty undermines peace efforts in the region.

The Turkish Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of preserving Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that external interventions, particularly by Israel, are counterproductive to achieving lasting peace in the region.

Ankara’s offer of cooperation with Washington comes amid ongoing efforts to stabilize Syria, which has been embroiled in a decade-long conflict. Turkey has been a key player in the region, hosting millions of Syrian refugees and engaging in diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis.
