Zelenskyy Says Ukraine Proposed New Meeting with Russia in Turkey

Kokcha News Agency – Zelenskyy provided information on his meeting with the country’s ambassadors on his X account.

The Ukrainian leader touched upon the diplomatic moves his country has made since the start of the war in 2022 and the directives he gave to the ambassadors at the meeting.

Stating that “effective negotiations will only be at the level of country leaders” in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary and the leader of the Ukrainian delegation, Umerov, proposed that representatives of the two countries hold a new meeting in Turkey.

Zelenskyy noted that Kiev’s agenda is the return of prisoners of war, “the return of children kidnapped by Russia,” and preparations for a leaders’ meeting.
