Israeli Drone Strike in Southern Lebanon Kills One
An Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in southern Lebanon has resulted in one fatality, as tensions between Israel and Lebanon continue despite a ceasefire agreement.

According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the city of Sur, near the border with Israel, killing one person.
The Israeli military also conducted low-altitude flights over the towns of El-Kasmiyeh, Ezrariyeh, and Ansariyeh in the Sidon region, as well as various towns in the Nabatiyeh area.
Despite a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024, the Israeli military has continued to carry out almost daily air and ground attacks in southern Lebanon. Since the ceasefire began, Israel has committed approximately 3,000 violations, resulting in at least 213 deaths and 508 injuries.
Although the Israeli military has partially withdrawn from southern Lebanon, it continues to occupy five strategic hills it captured during recent clashes.
