Kokcha News Agency: U.S. President Donald Trump has indicated that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not need to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy before holding talks with him.
When asked whether the August 8 deadline he gave Putin to resolve the Ukraine issue was still valid, Trump responded, “It’s up to him. We’ll see what he says. I’ve been very disappointed.”
Trump expressed frustration over the lack of progress in resolving the Ukraine crisis and emphasized that Putin could engage directly with him without prior discussions with Zelenskyy.
This statement comes amid ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, with the U.S. playing a mediating role in the conflict.
