Over 73,000 Palestinians Killed or Missing in 700 Days of Israeli Attacks on Gaza

The Gaza government announced that over 73,000 Palestinians have been killed or gone missing during 700 days of Israeli attacks and blockade, with 90% of infrastructure destroyed and $68 billion in damages.

Kokcha News Agency – The Gaza government has revealed that 73,731 Palestinians, including those trapped under rubble, have been killed or gone missing during 700 days of relentless Israeli attacks and blockade. The government stated that Israel has committed genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza with international silence and complicity.

Israel has targeted over 2.4 million civilians in Gaza, destroying approximately 90% of the infrastructure, causing $68 billion in damages, and taking control of more than 80% of Gaza. The government reported that Israel’s bloody massacres have resulted in the deaths of over 20,000 children and 12,500 women.

The attacks have wiped out 2,700 entire families from population records, with 1,670 healthcare workers, 248 journalists, 139 civil defense personnel, and 173 municipal employees killed. Over 162,000 people have been injured, many suffering from amputations, paralysis, and blindness.

Israel has systematically displaced Palestinians in Gaza City and northern Gaza, preventing their return and targeting vital facilities. These actions constitute clear violations of the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute, amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Israel has completely destroyed 38 hospitals, 833 mosques, and 163 educational institutions, severely damaging thousands of other facilities. The blockade has enforced a “systematic starvation policy” on the civilian population, with humanitarian aid entry blocked, threatening the lives of over 2.4 million Palestinians, including more than 1 million children.

The Gaza government condemned the attacks and held Israel, the U.S., and supporting countries accountable for the crimes committed in Gaza. They called on Arab and Islamic nations, the international community, and the United Nations to take urgent, serious, and effective steps to stop the attacks, lift the blockade, ensure the return of displaced persons, and hold Israeli leaders accountable in international courts.
