President Erdoğan: Education Focus on Family and Green Homeland

Kokcha News Agency– During the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 academic year at Mümtaz Turhan Social Sciences High School, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the nation, extending his heartfelt greetings to the Ministry of National Education officials, teachers, students, and families. He wished for a successful and prosperous academic year.

Erdoğan also addressed the tragic attack in İzmir, where two police officers were martyred and two others injured in an armed assault on the Balçova Salih İşgören Police Station. The President expressed his condolences, saying, “We received deeply saddening news from İzmir this morning. Two of our police officers were martyred, and two others were injured in the attack.” He added, “I pray for Allah’s mercy on the martyred officers and a speedy recovery for the injured.”

The President confirmed that the 16-year-old suspect involved in the attack has been apprehended, and investigations into his connections are ongoing. He concluded with a message of solidarity, saying, “Our condolences to the entire police force.”
