Kokcha News Agency: Afghan taekwondo athlete Mohammad Hossein Taqwa has achieved remarkable success at the World Junior Taekwondo Championships held in Malaysia. On Saturday, July 21, Taqwa won a gold medal in the junior category and later clinched a silver medal in the youth category, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.

Taqwa, who currently resides in Malaysia, represented migrants in the competition. He began practicing taekwondo at the age of seven in Kabul and has previously won numerous medals in both national and international tournaments, including a bronze medal in Uzbekistan.

The championships featured participants from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Taqwa’s journey to success has been marked by resilience and determination. After the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, he migrated to Malaysia, where he continued his training and pursued his passion for taekwondo.
